  • Our conference series started in 2012
  • Our 2018 conference will be held on July 16
  • 2018 will be our 6th annual conference
  • This year’s conference will be held at the Carrillo Recreation Center,
  • The conference has been hosted in South County but is open to anyone from neighboring communities.
  • Participants come from non-profit organizations, education community, colleges & universities, and community members, and government entities
  • Law Enforcement is always an integral part of our conference
  • Our focus is on youth violence prevention, resiliency, opportunities for youth and other associated forms of violence prevention or intervention.
  • Over 600 people have attended our conference since our first year
  • We pride ourselves in having a diverse group of presenters every year
  • We focus on emerging trends, data, provider support, solutions, and creating community
  • We have been providing the conference free of cost to participants.
  • There have been dozens of collaborations formed as a result of networking at our conferences
  • With the intention of supporting networking after the conference we will provide attendee contact information.
  • We do not have any poster presentation sessions
  • We do not offer tables for vendors, except for some rare unique situations
  • We do not offer CEUs for attending our conference
  • Registration is transferable up to 7 days before the event. Changes can only be made by attendees on the registration website
  • Lost items that are turned in will be held at our registration table
  • Parking for 2018 is is available at nearby city parking lots at your cost. Carpooling, public transportation, and UBER are encouraged.
